Here you can free loan from a collection of 35,000 CDs / LPs, 20,000 notes and books, 5,000 DVDs and 35 music journals, as well as hundreds of fanzines.
Music and movie library moved into the new premises of 600 square meters in the culture house ground floor in February 2005, and stands today as the most modern music and movie library.
With 300,000 visitors a year and works closely with Stavanger other musikk-/filmmiljø, this has given us the status of the city, and the region's musical hub and a meeting place.
We have special expertise in music and film, and is used by institutions, organizations and individuals across the country. We organize concerts, lectures, film quizzes and class visits.
